Baby Robin

Today I was out watering the lawn & filling up the birdbaths when I espied this cute little fledgling robin hiding amongst the tree branches. He didn't seem a bit afraid of me, so I took a few pix. Lots of local birds are not shy when I'm around because they know I'll feed and water them!

Hope everyone is enjoying all this hot sticky weather (and don't forget to take care of your local yard birds, especially providing water). It got up to 102 yesterday! Still, I don't miss winter at all.
