I think this is a flowering quince, but not 100% sure. It is really quite a lovely thing, though. Saw it growing in one of my favorite horticultural haunts.
you have indeed such an eye for beauty. does these flowers has fragrance too?
Thank you very much! I don't think they smell, but I can't say for certain--I didn't give them a "sniff test!"
Such a wonderful shot! I think you're right.
Thank you. I love these flowers...they remind me of wax blossoms for some reason (color?).
Beautiful delicate colour !
Looks like a quince to me too - used to have quince jam many years ago
This looks so tranquil! I love it, its so beautiful!
This looks divine Jean. I will feature this in my next journal
Thank you so much, Barbara! I really appreciate the features, and look forward to it. For some reason, people seem to like this one a lot (not just me, for a change)! Sometimes I'm not the best judge of my own art, but I think I judged this one right.
Thank you so much, Anna...I really appreciate the feature! I was just visiting your journal and saw it. I also read about poor Tiggy and I'm hoping he'll pull through all the surgeries OK. I'll say a prayer for him.
Thank you! I just saw your journal and it is simply gorgeous!
Whatever it is, it's beautiful. Love the delicate colors.
What a beautiful composition. I really love the beauty in nature you captured.
This is a very beautiful find.
You captured it well.
You captured it well.
Thanks! I really like this kind of flower...saw some red ones, too, but the pix didn't turn out as good as the white ones.
Thank you very much. I really like these blossoms and their distinctive shapes...love the little round buds, too! They are interesting subjects for photography, I must say.
What a wonderful beauty
Thanks so much. I loved seeing them in person, too. I'm glad this picture came out rather clearly; most of the others didn't.
Such a pretty flower... Great shot
Thank you very much! I'm glad this one came out clearly, as most of the other shots didn't. One is good enough, though.
Thanks, Lori! This is one of the few pix that turned out decently. I don't know why, but many of them were slightly blurry. Oh well, I'll be happy with one good one! Glad you like it, too.
