This is my first halfway decent shot of a chipmunk, despite numerous attempts in the past. They are very quick and observant, and usually scuttle off before I can even get the camera focused. Must have caught this guy off guard.

THank you, Peggy. I took about 5 shots of this guy...the images were a bit on the "soft" side, which is why this pic is small. I had to sharpen it up a bit with Photoshop. Chipmuks are SO amazingly shy, which is hard to deal with. I'm used to taking pictures of uppity, bold birds!
