I photographed these pretty flowers outside a grocery store of all places. The store was selling lots of wonderul plants and flowers, so I'm glad I had my camera with me. I think these are a variety of tuberous begonias.

I appreciate you saying that. I love it when photos go beyond snapshots and become arty images. The softness here added to the overall look, I think. Sometimes, a little blurring makes a positive difference.

Why thank you! This is one of those rare instances where the photo called out for a frame. Sometimes frames detract, but I think this time, it was the right way to go.

Thank you; I spot metered this one, plus I set the EV down by -.5. The background was darkened by doing that. Also, I cleaned it up some with Photoshop, and got rid of light areas that distracted.
